Yes you are missing the most obvious. Sadly SP mail is no longer reliable.
In the UK SP mail still works like a dream. But once you try SP mail in
"DX" mode then it is quite hit and miss. The reasons for this are varied
and I'll let others postulate why. However, SB mail works well no matter
where it is sent, ALL@WW is remarkably robust. Normally for many of the
same reasons that SP isnt :-)
If you want to see how many people read your message you have the following
choices:
1) Ask them to send you a SP mail. This isnt going to work to well.
2) Ask them to send SB mail. This isnt going to endear you to everyone
else.
3) Ask them to reply via email. This will be the best way to guarantee you
get replies from people who are bothered.
