Firstly may I say that this message will be HELD by my REJECT.SYS file
, which amongst other non AMATEUR RADIO related msg's or bulletins, HOLDS
anything addresed to CB, and if that fails, I also have my M_FILTER configured
to Hold CB, 27MHz, Citizen Band, CBear, etc.
I cannot understand why all this controversy as to whether Packet should be
used on the CB Band, a high percentage of what goes on CB is illegal anyway,
like SSB, 1kW Linears, foul language, etc., so why worry whether they use
Packet.
As far as I am concerned Amateur Radio and CB are entirely two different
things, admittedly they use the same medium to convey their messages, but that
is where, fortunately, the similarity ends.
I beleive the best thing to do is ignore what it happening on any non-amateur
radio frequency provided it does not interfere with our bands, and if it does
then steps should be taken.
One more thing, I have said my bit and have no intention of entering into any
form of discussion on the CB subject, as I mentioned before, this BBS does not
handle messages or bulletins related to CB
