(F) SCREEN EDITING:

(1) TO MOVE THE CURSOR AROUND THE SCREEN WITHOUT DELETING:

TO MOVE RIGHT PRESS (left/right) [CRSR] KEY

TO MOVE LEFT HOLD [SHIFT) KEY & PRESS (left/right) [CRSR] KEY

TO MOVE DOWN PRESS (up/down) [CRSR] KEY

TO MOVE UP HOLD [SHIFT] KEY & PRESS (up/down) [CRSR] KEY

(2) TO MOVE THE CURSOR BACK AND DELETE A CHARACTER:
Place the curor on the character to the right of the one(s) you want to
delete.
Press the [INST/DEL] key once for each character you wish to delete.

(3) TO INSERT A SPACE:

Place the cursor on the character where you want the space to appear
and while holding the [SHIFT] key down press the [INST/DEL] key.

(4) IMMEDIATE AND QUOTE MODES:

Normally when you press the cursor keys, the [CLR/HOME] key, the
[INST/DEL]
key or the function keys, the computer will immediately act upon the
key press. For example, pressing the [SHIFT] and [HOME/CLR] keys at the
same time
        will normally clear the screen.

However, there are some times when this does not happen and the screen
shows
a series of reversed characters instead.

This signifies that the computer is in QUOTE mode, meaning that the
keys such
as the cursor keys, the [INST/DEL] key, the FUNCTION keys, and the
[CLR/HOME]
key will be actioned once the [RETURN] key is pressed.

If you don't want to execute the command, there are two options
..........

        (a) Hold down the (SHIFT] key and press [RETURN], this will terminate
the
        line without executing the command.

        (b) Hold down the [SHIFT] key and press the (2) key which will put a
quotation
mark on the screen. This then terminates the QUOTE mode.

Please note that you may then have to go back and edit your line of
text.
