The original question was:-

The orginal post (above) gave no information as to what program (if any)
he/she wishes to run on top of BPQ. If it is WinPack then BPQ32 will not
work (AFAIK) due to WinPack being 16bit and BPQ32 being, err 32bit.

In my experience (and I've had a few) putting Windows over a DOS program
can lead to all sorts of problems - So I would run a DOS program on a
machine that runs DOS and nothing else.

Putting all your eggs into 1 basket: BPQ Node on top of Windows,
runing FBB + your web/e-mail bits would be a bit risky...

I have a DOS machine (486DX4-100) and that does the business as far
as the NODE software goes (it's on test).

As I mentioned in an earlier bull, G4IDE's site has a page all about
getting BPQv4.08a running under Windows, including how to set-up the PC
so you are offered a menu which asks how you want to start.

There must be a BPQ "expert" who hasn't contributed yet, as I'm only
speaking from 6months of fiddling about and finding out for myself...
