Hi all,
Well I agree with Charles N5PVL about Linux, I spent months trying to get
AX25 to work with Linux and gave up in disgust in the end, a waste of time
and money!!!
As for his comments about BPQ and Flexnet well my experience is the opposite,
I never had any difficulty setting up BPQ, the docs were always adequate to
allow me work out the configuration settings. Flexnet on the other hand was
much more difficult and the docs woefully inadequate. I had to resort to
asking for help to get it going, and the answer to the problem I had was
different to what little info was in in the docs.
My conclusion....different people see things differently and thus have
different problems, I put it down to the logic of our mind. I have found
this with quite a lot of software I have tried and discarded because I
thought the interface and operation was stupid whereas others I know think it
