Hello!

It doesn't seems to be possible to set up flexnet links via a bpq network.
You can connect net/rom networks via a flexnet network, but not the other way.
Other nodes like x-net and thenetnode will route flexnet traffic.
>How well does Flexnet route NET/ROM node broadcasts?
Flexnet route everything!
You can setup net/rom links etc via a flexnet network wtihout any problems.
>How is their routing specified?
I don't know exactly.
In the end of sysop documentaation is rather much said about how that the
routing works, but there are no protocol specification etc.
There must be some documentation, since other flexnet like software is using
it. The developers of x-net and thenetnode have managed to wiret support for
the flexnet protocol.
>I assume you mean "NET/ROM in all it's implementations"
>when you say "bpq". That is, NET/ROM, TheNet, BPQ,
>NOS, etc. etc. Is that correct?
Yes, atleast if the thing written is about the net/rom routing of bpq.
Bpq is the most used around here!
But one thing that is making bpq especially bad working I guess is that it
often is shoehorned in to a to slow computer with a bbs.
And also its use of kiss and diod matrixes etc, that is solved in other ways by
other nodes.
The new improved net/rom of thenetnode is working much better that the old
net/rom and if you se that as a net/rom impelementaion should that not
be included in the list of what bpq means!.
