Hi there..
just wanted to express my opinion on this debate :
After having tried both applications, I came to the following conclusions...
- with Flexnet, I didn't achieve a stable configuration. The system keeps
crashing over and over. I tried a lot of different settings without luck..
- Flexnet does not allow a local loop-back. If you have ,say, a DxCluster
running, there's no way to connect to , without passing through an external
station/node, to emulate users connections.
- with BPQ, I'm running 3 applications: Clusse as DxCluster, Winpack for
outgoing connections and monitoring, Tsthost for mailing and bulletins.
All these absolutely trouble-free. Thus, my son is able to play his games
while all keeps running in the background.
- the system NEVER crashes
- I don't care about any routing, as we are using Hi-Speed Supervozelj nodes.
So, for my requirement ( repeat, for MY requirement ) BPQ is what I need.
There's no question !
Thanks for reading.. es 73 de Gianni
