I look at it this way.
You will use what you can afford and what works is your situation.
There are advantages and disadvantages in all types of software
and hardware but it comes down to a couple of simple choices.
COST and the K.I.S.S. principle.
(for those who dont know K.I.S.S. means Keep It Simple Stupid.)
Less parts less to go wrong.
