Hi!
>BPQ has a big advantage over FlexDigi : it runs under Windows.
Not a very important advanatage!
>Flexdigi doesn't allow W95 to load.
Flexdigi isn't a windows software so of course can't you use it unser windows.
But who want a node running under windows?
Windows isn't very suitable for unnatendes stations, dos, linux etcx is waht
you should use.
It is ok to run the bbs on a windows computer, but the node should be up
allways. The network will not work very well if nodes go down all the time.
So use a dos computer for the node and the windows comptuer for tha bbs, or
use something else than windows.
>Even FlexNet doesn't run stable under W95.
It does.
But win95 is hard to comfigure and to get stable most users cant manage to do
that. But it is not a problem of flexnet.
>And it has that DOS "thing" called TFEMU... argh !
That isn't used when you run aflexnet digipeater!
And it isn't needed if the software developers would be cleve enough to make
softwares that support the flexnet interfcae.
The flexnet itneface is real easy to use!
