These are all kantronics tncs!
The problem is maybe that kantronics doesn't support their users with proper
software for their tncs, so why don't you discuss this with your local
kantronics dealer or some one else with some influence on kantronics?
It is not like with the tnc2s etc, the kantronics tncs ands software etc for
them is only a matter of kantronics, no one else writes software for them.
So you are in the hands of kantronics!
The ham radio part of their business is very small, so that they don't care
very much about the situation of the users of their ham radio products don't
surprie me very much. They can sell tncs even without good firmwares since
most packet radio users really don't have enough knowledge to demand better
once.
This is nothing new, that kiss is crap have always been known, 6pack
have been avaliable for a long time and also other sollutions have been
avaliable a very long time.
Kiss was an experiment, never relly meant to be used since it was no good.
But msot people didn't get that.
But kantronics have done nothing more than tried to make pople believe that
xkiss (their name of bpqs multidrop kiss) is a solluiton of all problems
with kiss, even thou that not at all is true.
Xkiss is almost as bas as any other kiss.
