Every TNC can use it IF the TNC have an EPROM/EEPROM/PROM/ROM, (whateverROM),
with 6PACK firmware.
You will need an EPROM with that special program - 6PACK.
It is a protocol for communication PC <--> TNC, but your TNC MUST have
the proper firmware, 6PACK, to be able to use it.

Do we have to remind you what you have said ?
You clearly said that BPQ is obsolete.
You even admids that not all TNC's can use 6PACK due to the lack of
firmware for some TNC's.

It is kiss that is obsolte and so is bpq.
If you want to use kiss are there also other packet drivers that is better
than bpq like tfx2.8, agw, tfkiss etc.
That flexnet is using 6pack instead of kiss is a good thing, not a problem.
The problem is that there are no 6pack firmwares avaliable for some tncs.

Better ?, that is a matter of personal experience.
6PACK may be EASIER to use compared to KISS, but better ?
With 6PACK you are stuck with the functions that the firmware-makers
has put in to it. With KISS you can do whatever you want, provided you
have the knowledge to make an application that have what you want it to do.

Once again you are telling us, 'USE FLEXNET - it is always best'.
