6pack's as well as kiss' function is to tansports ax25 frames to the packet
driver from the tnc and vice versa.

That is a bad guess and totally wrong!
How could they write a packet driver without knowledge of ax25?
There is a good reson for using 6pack instead of kiss, but some people
doesn't know enough about kiss to realize that.

You make me beliave that you don't know what neither Flexnet nor 6pack are!
FlexNet discussed here is a packet driver.
But it is also the name of a node to use together with the packet driver, a
node software for rmnc and the routing protocol used by the flexnet node.
It is the name the whole concept.

6pack is a protocol for communication between tnc and packet driver, which
provides advantages over KISS.

I'm comparing two ways of using a tnc.
