Error maybe because radio locked for TX out of the ham bands, its not bad in general.
But why its go to the 5MHz - need to try sniff data over SCS TNC serial connection at least
to see what happens, better even to sfiff direct at serial line to radio.

Did you done all bpq's HF radio ports config include INTERLOCK=1 ?
It should prevent radio change QRG if some connections are active.
