Hello Biker's
I sat and the memory's came flooding back after my last effort, many
thanks to all of you that praised my words gave me quite a kick to find
that some one is still interested, to Lenny there were so many faults with
the production siLEnt noddy bikes, it would bore the rest of the readers to
death, I'm sorry but its very true, having said that I have in my
pessession four of versions of the LE one is an ex-police bike that used to
ridden by a Jack Frost in the wiltshire force.

If you recall I told you about the time spent learning the TT course over
eleven weeks, and some thing happened during that period that I'm ashamed
to relate on this medium, but its now a long time ago! what happened was
one morning Chris called me out of bed at 3:30am to start my stint, I
always had a cuppa ready and one single sandwich, so Chris told me to
please do something about the loud exhaust sound as I travelled through the
pit area, as the folk in that part of Douglas were getting fed up with the
racket, with these thoughts going around in my head I set of for the garage
checked the bike over for gasoline and castrol R and bump started the bike
and set off on my merry way, not a good thing to have on your mind when you
are going flat out, "shit or bust", I'm on my up the mountain climb out of
Ramsey and I'm rounding whats known as the veranda, when I see three people
spread across the road doing their best to stop me, so Chris was right they
where getting up tight about me, to my shame I did not stop, on the was
down the mountain to the finsh I made up my mind to call it a day and park
the bike, I walked down to the hotel and was about to mention to Chris that
he was right after all, when he asked! had I seen the plane crash on the top
of Snaefell, I dont think I need say any more as it must be obviouse how I
felt, gutted!!! and to top it all the crash victims where the wife of Bert
Perrigo his story has been in the Motorcycling mag of last few weeks and a
near neighbour Mrs Povey the wife of a very famous trials rider prewar also
many other famous people from the bike world lost their lives in that crash
it still bothers me after all these years have passed by.

I have lots of stories all true and as they come to mind I'll pass them on
to you, like the times Sammy Miller and I shared the same digs etc etc...
