Hi all.

Well Geof's (G4FAS) Browse really stirred the brain cells here.

I have 3 older brothers, one was into Sports Cars (Boo), and the other 2
into Bikes, (Yippee).

I got into bikes a bit late, with slight influence from somewhere...

I started with a 1960 something, Matchless G12 outfit in 1972 (ish), never
did get it running right, in at the deep end, why not. Then I moved it on,
and lurked around on the pillion (s) of friends machines for a few years.
I then got me a AJS Model 31, yet another outfit, cost me all of 40 quid
too!!! I done extesive work on the lump, and rattled it around for a
while.

Went to the Kent Custom Bike Show a few times, got drunk, listened to loud
music live on stage, saw Rory Gallagher, Dumpys Rusty Nuts, Dr.Feelgood
Fester & the Vomits and other great bands there too, and all the usual
things you do at those type of events. I met a lot of very nice people
too.

Joined the National Chopper Club, and started building a Truimph Twin
Chop, scrounged bits here & there, bought stuff at autojumbles, and
flogged it before I finished it, shame tho, it was starting to look good
an' all...

Them days finished for me them, 1985 I got wed... Couldn't afford the
lifestyle anymore unfortunatly.

Sadly, since then, some of the old crowd have left us to go wherever the
next life might be. I hope they are having as good a time as they did down
here. I often think about them.

I still see some of the others sometimes though. One of them is am M1
call. Keep an eye out for a "Browse" from Neal folks.

Looking out of my window now I can see the rain puring down, and I can
remember going into a pub one evening when the weather was just as bad,
and some bright berk says "Is it raing out there then?" Oh it makes ya
wanna spit...

I might even send some "Browses" about outfits in the coming weeks even.

I'm 41 years young by the way, and still know where my skid lid is.

Take care all.

Regards from.

Someone once said, "You can't fall off a Combo." He did... That's another
story though.
