Weather forecast from the Met. Office at Ronaldsway at 7 a m. Staying fine
and sunny again but with a fresh or strong wind from the North East
blowing at 20 to 25 mph on average at low levels and 30 to 35 mph along
the Mountain Road with stronger gusts in places. Temps: 13-16 this morning
rising to 18 this afternoom - 9 to 12 over the Mountain.

The first race today is the four lap Lightweight with a start time of
10.45 a.m. This is the race that Phillip McCallen really wants to win,
having come so close on many occassions - he led last year till a cracked
exhaust slowed him and he finished fourth. 
In practice Ian Lougher (Honda), who has held the lap record since 1990,
topped the leaderboard in 19m. 26.7s. - 116.42 mph, 3.8 seconds faster
than Phillip on his Honda who lapped at 115.94, Simon Moodie had another
Honda in third place, a further 1.8 seconds down. Gary Dynes (Honda),
Shaun Harris (Yamaha) and John McGulinness (Aprilia) completed the top
six. 
In this class 17 riders lapped at over 110 mph and a further 38 topped the
lOOmph mark. Riders completed 438 laps a mileage of 16,525.74 miles. 

The second race today is the three lap Sidecar "B", and Roy Hanks, winner
on Saturday after 31 years of trying will be out for a double with Phillip
Biggs in the chair of the Beale Ireson NRH (Norman, Roy Hanks). But Rob
Fisher/Rick Long (Express Baker) who lapped at over 110 mph in practice
will be all out to make up for the disappointment of Saturdays retirement
as will lan Bell/Neil Carpenter (Bell Yamaha) and the other leaders from
the first race Gregory Lambert/Tony Darby (Tee Bee 600) and Vince
Biggs/Graham Biggs (Molyneux Yamaha). 
In practice, riders completed 501 laps - 18,902.73 miles and in the first
race they completed 152 laps - 5,734 96 miles. The first of the
Presentation evenings takes place this evening at the Villa Marina at 9
p.m, when the awards for the T.T. Formula 1 and both Sidecar Races will be
presented.
