There was another OZ country singer who also travelled the roads about 30
years ago - Robert (Tex) Morton. Tex also had an amateur licence and used
to call in on 80 metres in the interval of his concerts to talk to any
locals who might be about on 80.He also was a legend but did not become as
famous as Slim.
