Then there is "today's" Pub With No Beer at Taylors Arm (Taylors Arm is a
branch of the Nambucca River), about 20km from my QTH at Collombatti near
Kempsey. The road I take to town was once called Taylors Arm Road, and then
Greenhill Road, and now Chain-O-Ponds Road, just to confuse everyone.
Taylors Arm is at one end of the road, Greenhill at the other, so why
Chain-O-Ponds? Simple, Collombatti Creek, which the road crosses, is usually
nothing more than a chain of ponds.
