Hi David and all,

An Aussie pub with no BEER? As a US TV commercial goes, "It's like a day
without sunshine." Since that's very rare at VXA Spy Headquarters I have
my doubts, fiction is likely but yet unproven. I'll give them a little
wiggle room, there WAS the Beer War (their version of the Boer War with a
darker element) when the Aboriginals claimed the first beer well as their
own. It was over quickly though, Crocodile Fundee teamed up with Ned
Kelly (the inventer of body armor) and together they dynamited the well
amid a hail of boomerangs, WHAT A SIGHT! The result was the Great Beer
Swamp that covered the Outback, unfotunately today there is little
evidence of it other than a few drunken frogs and the total lack of them
atop Ayers Rock which stood high over the swamp. Of course dispite the
Aussies having won in their own little way having destroyed the well the
Aboriginals claim the real victory having a secret supply of beer even
the bravest Aussie won't touch even if he happens on one, the frogs. It's
a well known fact they know just how to find them in their underground
cavities in a state of semi hibernation to escape dehydration and suck
the water from them. When one finds beer you have one happy Abo. They
suck frogs, Aussies suck bottles, same thing really but the difference is
the Aussies went to great expense drilling more wells, Abo Beer is free
and the Aussies can't find it.

Uh oh, stand back, wait for Bob to tell us we can't discuss beer. (;->)
