Hello Warren...even Ian...who ...well he is in the "box"
as I never get him too often on "Skype".
Yes ... QSL cards were started by Hams, as the originals were here
before the station broadcasters issued them for listeners.
"Eyeballs" were normal, as they were experimenters, interested in all
and each other, and going over here and there, to help experiment
...something and attitude lost on the newcomers.
OK too on not making friends easy...I think this hobby does this...

Ditto ... bring back memorys... both CB and HAM.
"Master Control" and it's sicko members, I think should have never
made it to the magazine level. That would setup and enpower copycats
and well your local happenies, also happened in the east end of Toronto.
All before chos years ...right on.
I think...as time went by, the rigs for use were not all that good
cheap in standards to what I was used to...but they sold.
When you mentioned the crystals, I got a bum rock for the CADRE 510
and it transmitted all channels it seemed.... so memorys of your
mention trying to tell the YL about the faulty radio brought that
to mind.
aaaah Hill Topping ... We always did that...was a part of the fun
of CB. met a few doing the samething...and a few YLs.
Yeah ...going back...is something I tired too...and oh well call
it progress.

Ha hahahahaha aaaa .... yeah..the day is drawing close, and I
have them broken out and on the ready, for later today. :)
Mum has told her not to beatup on old Pete... hahahahaha...so
I am protected by my mother-in-law ...and besides...there they
carry on the old european code and native codes of listening to
the elders...so ahahahahhaa saved again....
