Hello Warren and Ian and maybe Bill ... as well others out there
who were ...or aren't anymore...or whatever :) Gather round...
Before going on ...I thought Ian our Count of whatever wanted the
theme changed from CB to CBEEP ...but since he switched back,
mostlikely to bad blood, or running into a tall building in a
single bite...oh mmm...ok I get on with it...

The bad side, was that some of these nasty-types got their roots in

as you found again in the ranks of the Amateur service.
The non-mixing part Warren, I find interestings, and many events
here did bring GRS and Amateur Radio together.

You never heard of "Master Control" in the late 1960s ? You are
kidding? We heard of it, via a Buffalo NY CB'er < Yeah American and
canadian CB'ers were not allowed to communicate to each other ...till
later > and verified when someone got an American magazine later
detailing in the mid-west states, a group was formed and they took
the law into their hands, by downing towers, smashing the antenna
and placing whatever was left to spell "Master Control".
The end result was quite a few caught, and among them Amateur Radio
Operators on their agenda...apart from the others who had no faith
in the FCC or laws.
Never got my hands on the Tram mobile, that was supposed to be the
mobile mate of the Tram 2 ... and one I saw...well it looked like
AM only. Which Courier 23 are you about...they had a few, or
do you mena that tube one, which was used by many...coming from the
same place...only another sticker was put on and it became
a REALISTIC 23... A CALEDONIA 23 or a SATELLITE 23. ....

No ...didn't miss it...in fact ... in an earlier ramblings, I did
mention ian's otherside of being Mr. Rig Doctor .. and then I left it
to him, as I know he'd be laughing and well laugher is the best
medicine and good times, and his description in Skype was better then
anyhing he has mentioned in type so far... Ian had fun. Lots of it.

We were too ....most of the teens travelled together, and nothing to
have a few mowbubbles all going the same way...same destination, and
well nothing like nowadays where we were really stopped or something.

Before I go. We have an OP that used to be CB ... and I can
remember him and his english accent, during a lull in the chaos
announcing to us all...he was leaving CB forever < blank> <noises>
and going to Ham Radio <thump> <Whirl>< crackle><pop> and what
his opinion was of us all < ..... never heard again taken out...>
YET today...whenevr he is on the airways...the same happens as
all his followers have followed him...or new ones picked up...
Gotta go ... I need to clean house and wash the floor...as
the big day is getting close... and My Master Control is returning
to the 10-20 ... so hahahahaha....
