Hello Warren, ghosts, and closet CB'ers now ...mmm...well U know ;)

Yeah that was funny to hear the same operator, on CB with that
trucker-cowboy drawl...and then on the Amateur Radio, with his now
sqeeky-clean new image of a better society...which breaks me up
as when I see them at the flemarkets and picnics etc... I see
quite a few folks that are speechless, and not very open...almost
like they need that microphone or keyboard to hide behind.

Maria has told me, she allows me to go to these things, but she don't
want to go ... they give her the portuguese equivalent of the creeps.

I'd have to agree, as Hams now are really specializing in other things
and they form pools of interest and that it. You are interested
or not...if not you are OUT.

I love looking Warren ... May it keep on leaking... hahahahaha

The Tram Titan ll, was only base. The XL model was the mobile
version but only AM.

Yes... Tram was pricey as well SONAR up here, and the Eagles
and I was luckey to compare them using my system at my apartment
and well I liked the SONAR for selectiveity and their rear mounted
Noise Limiter. The TRAM was equally as well something I had also
running all the time, but then dialing the channel and then turning
that tiny ch transmit knob was a pain. my friend had the Golden Eagle
with "Beepo' and all...and that interesting mic and stand...but
I never got to test it out...and well they were never legal in
CANADA ....as there was no DOT sticker on the back.

There is..if anyone interested, "6" of those single channel
Johnson HTs for sale up here ... they are reminders of the SONAR T2
HT .... metal box construction and well still working...which
is quality.

"Thanks" for the memories... I see there is a "CBEEP @WW" from
Ian, so I guess a reply there too is in order so that he knows
I read it. I still want a picture of Ian in his CB attire
hahahahahahaha .... Thanks again guys...
