Hiya Warren and all reading along... aaah the memorys, and this
is my upteenth time trying to get this posting answered as
it seems the fuses are blowing.... But yeah, back in 1962,
most of the other users we ran into on one of our 5 channels
were from the Amateur Radio, most too loved this new challenge
and whomever they found, so early years were the best, I think
up to at least 1975.

I always in the 1970s, loved to "goof" on the Smoky and the
Bandit trained CB'ers ....with no mervy for them. Long
story on this one...so if anyone wants it you can ask
and do expect a monster posting.
The other part about the teapot, reminds me of an American
ham we heard, then got to speak to and then heard no more
until years later I learned his fate. He was an AM'er
and hated "duck talk" and had a rhyme he used to repeat
when given the chance.

Sounds familar, as a few announced with great "official-like"
authority they were leaving CB for good.... and ...funny...
the pest that bothered them disappeared too, and ended up
on what we dubbed "Super CB" hahahahahha...same stuff
and great evening listening.

Sounds like Toronto. When I left in the morning, and looked
in the rear mirror, all I could see was a donut-ring around TO
with the CN Tower sticking up through it, and as I went the
mismuss disappeared as I went outta their range. Now it is
dead, as well the big towns near me....only it seems a few
here and there and REACT.
Don't croak .... and if it does catch up...you have a choice
of better CB sets...or ...ssssh you know you can do <CENSORED>.

We just got another ex-CB from the past on the ham lately,
the most interesting is they are and make better hams...don't
know why, but more patient and tolerant.
Ok gotta run .... I have to get those SSB Cobras in and
