Hi everybody

I want inform all of you, that my private OK0EP beacon at 432.886 will stay in
operation at this frequency at least till October 2005, although IARU recommend
tune up 70 cm beacons to different band segment from January 2004.

Reason for this decision is disapproval of operator of TV tower, Czech
radiocommunications, which operates a lot of different radio equipments at the
same place and afraids of some possible interference from beacon signal at the
changed frequency.

Because I have valid licence till autumn 2005, issued by Czech telecommunication
authority , I prefere keep this beacon in operation at old frequency rather,
than switch it off.

More info about OK0EP at http://www.tesnetwork.cz/ok2kkw/ok0ep.htm

best regards

Vladimir
