Well, your ears, my brain. I have CRS, can't remember (stuff) so sorry if
I sometimes misplace calls and names. (;->)
Yeah, the CW contest went bust but the phone end of it went for broke.
Maybe you should set the key aside sometimes and pick up the microphone?
As for me, I downloaded some software for HF digital modes and am
learning how to use it. There's lots of PSK31 on 20M so that's where I've
been hiding lately. Since the rig's VOX won't work on the data input I
have to rig up a PTT connection using the COM port on the computer, when
I get that going I'll be sending some strange sounding CQs on 6M and 2M
to see what happens. I have heard a few "exotic" modes on 2M so I'll see
what I can scare up.
FB on Indonesia and Nepal, but I beat you to it a couple of years ago
from a station in the southern end of NJ. Back at the peak of the cycle i
even got bored with the Pacific booming in every evening. (;->) So, where
were you when the VKs came in from one direction in the morning and the
other in the evening? Where were you when the multipath echoes were
maddening? Hmmmm?
OK, how about the rest of you? A few English, a few Aussies, one Yank
(me) and everybody else on holiday, where are you? C'mon, you can't all
be hanging out on packet!
