Hi All,
This is to inform you that I have modified the following beacons:-
GB3CLE on 1296.91000 MHZ. This has been running very low power
for a number of years due to problems with the RF power modules.
The signal is still being beamed due North from IO82RL Brown Clee
in South Shropshire running now much higher power.
Also a new beacon GB3PYS on 2320.925 MHz is now operational from
Newtown Powys IO82HL. This is running 10 Watts ERP beaming West.
At present, it low down on the tower, but will be higher as soon
as time and wx allows.
If you have any reports, I would be most grateful to receive them.
As many beacon builders will tell you, the only reports we get is
when they go off air.
Best 73 Don G3UQH
