Over the last two weeks I have bought jars of Marmite and seen people curl
their lips in disgust just seeing it.The normal response.
Over the years, i have wondered about a couple of foods, with a similar
reaction.
One, peanut butter, was exported by the Yanks long ago. A quick taste and
it was "never again!"
Vegemite, however, unlike xxxx and Fosters, has never appeared in the UK.
I hear it mentioned on TV from time to time with a "Yuk!" rection from
many people. In short, like Marmite but, what is it?
