ET Shadow Project (Internet Wireless and Sat Technology Task group AUSTRLIAN
section)

The ET Shadow project is open to and available for participation by amateur
radio operators, short wave
listeners, radio scanner enthusiasts and schools around the world. If you have
or can obtain or borrow
a radio scanner that can receive narrow band FM signals on 145.800 & 145.825
MHz from the International
Space Station Alpha and a computer to plug it into, then you can actively
participate in the ET Shadow
research.

You can monitor all transmissions on these frequency 145.800 MHz & 145.825 MHz
of packet and voice and
APRS.
Not only are the beacon signals from the Space Station to be heard but also
conversations between ground
based amateur radio operators communicating with each other via the Space
Station digipeater, a digipeater
is a radio repeater for digital packet radio, it repeats or re-broadcasts the
transmission.

Packet: 1200bps AFSK up and downlink 145.800 MHz.
Voice: NA1SS is usually voice call need 67hz sub tone 145.825 MHz
APRS : 1200bps AFSK up and downlink 145.825 MHz.

connect up and give this a
try today on HF too.

Would Persons Interested in these Satellite modes please make known to us what
you would like to see here
so as that we can pull together some of these technologies which would add for
a very vibrant page to work
from or to Spring Board from in having real time comms.
Just a few things to think about as there is indeed many more .....Let us know

APRS: UI-VIEW http://www.ui-view.com

Standalone version of the PCSAT Telemetry Decoder V2.42.

PCSAT Telemetry V2.41 Decoder for UI-View32 This is an add-on for UI-View32
V1.65 or later. It decodes
the telemetry from PCSAT and provides pass predictions. Besides decoding the
PCSAT telemetry, this
version will provide orbital pass predictions for both PCSAT and ISS,
There is also a standalone version of the PCSAT Telemetry Decoder for 32 bit
Windows. It doesn't need
UI-View32, but it does need AGWPE, and it is freeware. Besides decoding the
PCSAT telemetry, it has a
map window that shows the current position and footprint of either ISS or
PCSAT, and it has a terminal
window that you can use for transmitting. The current version is V2.42.

SV2AGW AGW Packet Engine(TCPIP overRadio)

DialUp Networking is the ability of AGW Packet Engine to connects with the AGW
TCP/IP modem virtual
device driver. That way every WIN95 Application that uses that modem can
communicate with AX25 packets.
So now you can access your Local TCP/IP Gateway station with all the WIN95
Internet programs. NetScape,
IExplorer, telnet, ftp and all the other thousands of Internet applications
available for WIN95.
Also configurable for (1200 or 9600), Packet with the DSP data for the Sound
Cards With PSA chipset
running the program TPAT1200.exe or TPAT9600.exe.
