Just a quick note to say that VK5ATB BBS will be closed tomorrow the 31st of
December and will not be reopening. I wish to thank all those who used this
service over the last twenty years or so and who kept me motivated. However
circumstances beyond my control have meant the service must be closed, and at
this stage I can see no way of it being reopened. The level of traffic being
received via HF radio has also been a factor in my decision. The Internet
links, coupled with my problems here have killed off my last remaining
enthusiasm to keep things going.
I will not be using packet so please do not send any mail via this medium as
it will not reach me.
I wish all the very best for the year 2005 and hope that it brings with it
all that you wish of it to bring.
