I wonder what the tabloid press, who were writing Australia off as a spent
force in cricket a few short months ago say now? Or do they report it at
all these days in the light of the results in the current triangular
series between Australia, Zimbabwe and India?

In the match played today on a fast bouncy WACA pitch, Brett Lee bowling
at almost 100 mph, proved to be more than a handful for the Indian
batsmen, who were dismissed for 203 runs. Australia had a bad start losing
three quick wickets but then Gilchrist and Symonds went on a demolition
derby scoring a partnership of 122 in 90 balls. Symonds hit three sixes,
one of which soared over the heads of the spectators and landed on the
roof of one of the stands. The runs needed to win were made with 18 overs
to spare.

They did not report it?? Oh shucks!! Boys, the kangaroo still has his
kick! Look him in the eye and hang on to your hat!
