I have to admit I'm having a major problem here with these allegations,
I've been on and off packet for quite a few years now, and I cannot recall
any bull from VK6BE that contained a swear word.
Seems to me we got either of two occurrences here, first, that someone
unknown used the BE call to smear his good name, or, second, that the KUI
perceptions of what exactly is a swear word is a LOT different from the
perceptions of most of the rest of us.
I think we need to get this cleared up, and one way is we need to know the
word in question. My e-mail address is at the end of this bull, and I'd
very much appreciate some kind person sending me the word/words that are
upsetting G6KUI. And don't worry about it offending me, been many years
since I was shocked at human behaviour!

Well I notice Pete G6KUI is at it again. He has not produced one instance
of foul language, but is hanging on to this exaggerated view of a word
NOT ORIGINATED by me as "foul". Then he tells VK to get its act together.
What act Pete? You still have produced nothing to back up your ridiculous
statements. And why did you not attack the originator of the bulletin
containing that word? It was VK6JZ. Oh yes, you singled me out as fair
game as the other wolves were already in there.
After the bulletins and flack of the past week I have no wish to ever
contact a G station again and that is after many friendly contacts on HF.
Packet has gone down the sewer. Noone can make a statement without being
torn to shreds by the jackals lurking and waiting.
If anyone wants to talk to me in a civilized manner I am on the Internet
which seems to me to be a safer medium than packet radio at present.
Meantime G bulletins are on the filter here. I want none of them.

Gentlemen.
You are shoting at the wrong target.
The original bulletin that Bob VK6BE quoted from was posted
on a UK BBS.
Here is part of the original bulletin as posted but with the
offending word blanked out.
As you can palinly see this bulletin was posted by VK6JZ on
GB7YKS in the UK.
George VK6JZ is a telnet user of GB7YKS who lives about 100km
from where my BBS is.
It seems that the UK amatuers have double standards as no one
has talked to the Sysop of GB7YKS to see why the original
message was allowed out into the packet world.
Bob VK6BE's only maistake was to cut and paste some of this
bulletin into his own.
The offending bulletin was placed onto packet by VK6JZ.
Now will any one in the UK tell George VK6JZ that this is not
allowed or will they keep on bashing Bob VK6BE.
Over to the learned Gentlemen in the UK.

ONE CAN SEE FROM THIS THAT BOB VK6BE ACTUALLY HAD LITTLE TO DO WITH THE
PROBLEM YET HE WAS UNFAIRLY ACCUSED BY G6KUI.
I CAN CERTAINLY UNDERSTAND BOB BECOMING UPSET ABOUT THE ACCUSATION BEARING
IN MIND THAT HE HAD "NOOOOOO" THOUGHT OF PURVEYING BAD LANGUAGE. THAT
