Since sending my response to G6KUI's message which was aimed at me,
alleging that I had sent bulletins with language so foul that I had had a
filter put on me I have had some second thoughts. I don't see why I
should tolerate such false accusations aimed at me on the packet network.
Firstly I do not swear even off air and I have never originated bulletins
with foul language. I therefore cannot be a "foul mouthed trouble maker"
as alleged by G6KUI.
I am extremely upset by that bulletin originating from G6KUI, and I put
this to the packet network. If indeed there was a packet message under my
callsign which contained foul language then it was not sent by me, and
therefore there must be someone using my callsign. Seeing that these
messages containing foul language are HAVE NOT BEEN SEEN IN AUSTRALIA,
they are coming from elsewhere. From where?
I challenge those making these statements about me to send me as a PN a
copy of one or two of these offensive messages. If you cannot do this then
they don't exist. Up to you Pete G6KUI. You made the statement, you give
me the proof. The ball is in your court. Let me see one of my "foul
mouthed" bulletins. I might even be able to work out where it came from.
I would say further that, contrary to the messages coming from G land, I
have been unable to find anyone in VK that has seen bulletins with foul
language in them originating in this country . If any were being sent from
here then it is certain we would see some at least of them if not all. It
is pretty obvious then that, if such exist, they are NOT originating in
this country at all.
Instead of throwing wild accusations around and defaming me, what about
you fellers doing some investigating and finding out who is playing silly
games?
I would point out further that I am 80 years old, an officer in my church
for most of my life, lay preacher, organist, choir master and secretary
and I don't play silly games. I have had an amateur licence and been
active for the whole of the last 48 years, and I am certainly not going
to risk my licence after all that time to play silly games by using bad
language.
Now I am waiting for a PN with some of the messages with foul language
allegedly originated by me. If one cannot be produced then someone is
guilty of lying and of libelling me and I am owed an apology.
