There is a mistake in the frequency list for DTMF (Touch-tone)
in the current ARRL Handbook for radio amateurs 1998 edition.
Table 23.2 on page 23.9 shows the "vertical" row 3 as 1447 Hz
and the standard is 1477 Hz. !!!
This error has been in that table for several editions. Last year
I wrote to the editor about it and received a nice "THANK-YOU"
and was advised that the mistake would be corrected......BUT....
THERE IT IS AGAIN THIS YEAR !!!!
