Hello to all….
….Arctic Cold Front will bring unusually cold weather and wind chills for March, a brief period of snow near the evening commute and strong winds to the region late Tonight and Tuesday Morning….
….A Wind Advisory is in effect from 6 PM today through 5 AM Tuesday for all of the NWS Taunton County Warning Area for sustained winds of 25-35 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH possible….
….A Wind Chill Watch is in effect for Northwest Massachusetts and Southwest and South-Central New Hampshire for late tonight through Tuesday Morning. A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect from Midnight Tonight through 10 AM Tuesday for the remainder of the NWS Taunton County Warning Area except for South Coastal Mass/RI and the Cape and Islands….
….No formal SKYWARN Activation anticipated at this time but SKYWARN Spotters and Amateur Radio Operators are requested to report measured wind gusts of 46 MPH or greater or any wind damage to NWS Taunton as needed along with any criteria snowfall reports. The situation will continue to be monitored. This will be the only message on this event unless an upgrade to the situation occurs.
