Not yet, but now that HamHUD has XON/XOFF capability, using its RTS line
for so-called "anti-tracker" (GPS waypoint output) is in the works.

I'm still confused. The D700 *DOES* put waypoints out to the GPS from
posit reports. It shows the call & SSID. Is this what was asked?
This is "Anti-Tracker" ?! Makes no sense! I might think "Inverse-Tracker"
of "Converse-Tracker, or "Tracker Conjugate" [as in complex-conjugate]
could be (poorly) considered.
Man, I agree, kill that name post haste!

The derivation of the anti-tracker terminology is this:
"TRACKER" = Transmit-Only APRS device with no RX
"Anti-TRACKER" = RECEIVE-Only APRS device with no TX capability such as
waypoints shown on a display GPS.

I've been calling the Tracker2 a 'bidirectional tracker' since it does
both. If anyone has a better idea for the terminology, I'm open to
suggestions!

Such a device should be called an
"APRS-to-Waypoint converter"
Please, lets kill this anti-tracker term.... Bob

I think it might have gotten buried in the middle of another discussion.
Did anyone see my post about using a serial/USB GPS receiver like the
GPSmap 60C as an intermediary between an APRS-to-waypoint converter and a
mapping program?
The idea is that the waypoint converter fills the GPS receiver with
converter APRS data, and then any off-the-shelf mapping program can
manually download the waypoints. It's clunky but should let you get APRS
data into just about anything. Might be really useful for an EOC or
emergency command post where you need to interface with someone else's
mapping system in a hurry.

I believe the term "Anti-Tracker" was coined by someone on the wiki, for a
device they created.
I, too, think it is a bad choice of words.

I agree. When I hear the term "Anti-tracker" I think more in terms of
AGM-88 HARMs (High Speed Anti-Radiation Missiles) :-)
