Hi George and readers,
Forget about it, a cell phone antenna is for a band completely unrelated
to 2M, trying to use one is like pumping an 80M signal into a 2M antenna,
the frequecy relationship is unrealistic.
BTW, the coupling for any through the glass antenna is inductive, not
capacitive. That's why you have to find the sweet spot which gives
optimum coupling.
If you want such an antenna, use one made for the band in use, not a
dummy load with infinite SWR.
BTW, say it like a New Yorker just for fun, FAGETABOUTIT! Yeah, it's a
one word shout. (;->)
