Greetings all,
Whilst I agree with a lot that Andy GM7HUD said in his latest missive, and
without quoting it at all - the main point against me using the recent
sats is that you can spend more time moving the antennas for bearing and
elevation than actually transmitting and receiving. By the time you get
locked on its moved again and then LOS! Oscar 10 had hours of window
time not 10 minutes in the hour.
Where are the geostationary sats that would be more helpful to radio
experimentation?
The more modes and band types the merrier if the b....dy thing stood still
long enough!
