Amsat-NA has established an email address for AO-51 users to submit
requests and ideas for Experimenters Wednesday operations. This is
your chance, the user, to request from the Amsat Operations Team the
modes you are interested in seeing operated on the satellite during
the weekly Wednesday times. All input will be noted by the
individuals monitoring the address. Do not expect a reply to your
email though, as we will not have the time to respond to each
individual email. The email address to send your requests or ideas
to is: ao51-modes@amsat.org
Extra Experimenters Wednesday Nov 10
Due to a change in my business schedule we will be able to run an
Experimenters Wednesday session on Nov 10 after all. AO-51 will be
configured to run the 9k6 BBS system (145.860/435.150) at higher
than normal power during the session. It will operate at 1 watt
output. The FM repeater will be turned off for the day. This is a
chance for those stations that need to test their 9k6 digital systems,
or may be having difficulty at present, to work with Echo while it
has a stronger downlink signal.
AO-51 Schedule
Remember to check the Amsat Web Site for the planned monthly schedule
for Echo. I will also post, from time to time, information about the
mode we are running, updates to the plan, or other timely information
pertainly to AO-51 (Echo). I try to keep that updated but sometimes
I do get behind. Normally I will update that page 2 to 3 times per
week. The direct URL for the page is:

PSK31 Users
Don't forget the PSK31 Experimenters Wednesday session coming up on
Nov 17.
[ANS thanks Mike Kingery, KE4AZN for the above information]
