IIRC, the RSGB news wasn't being officially sent on packet by the bod doing
it before you started doing it Trevor. I can't remember if it was ever sent
out under the GB2RS callsign, if it was it would have been before G3OUF(??)
moved to Canada.
So whilst I'm loathed to defend the RSGB, I do feel that your criticism is
slightly misplaced. Of course they should have someone (a volunteer or
council member or one of the many licensed employees) who has the
responsibilty to place the news onto packet. Just as someone updates the
RSGB website and sends the news scripts out to the news readers.
