Both seem sound good ideas except that my video clips, derived from
Geostationary Weather Satellites over 24 hours, when significantly
compressed and with much lower resolution, are still of the order of 1Mb
(down from 240+ Mb admittedly), and therefore an extremely long download
at 1K2, I'm just not sure anyone would want to wait hours to see them, and
there's more than a few Sysops out there who would likely complain at the
amount of generated traffic.

I'd be interested in any zipped .wav files on various accents, but suspect
that these may be too large for 1K2 as well.

I'm still surprised that no widescale adoption of 2.4GHz WiFi has taken
place on packet, since even the slowest 11Mbps link would appear to
support both large file transfers and further development of Packet and/or
other modes.

Maybe that's what we SHOULD be doing?
