Contest News
The Worked All Europe RTTY contest is on all contest bands from 80 to
10 metres on 13 and 14 November, from zero hours UTC on the 13th for
48 hours. Exchange an RST report and serial number.
The Japan International DX SSB Contest is run from 0700UTC on 13 November
until 1300UTC on 14 November and here the exchange is an RS report and
the CQ Zone - the UK is in Zone 14.
The Czech and Slovak OK / OM DX Contest is on all contest bands on CW
from 160 to 10 metres between 1200UTC on 13 November and 1200UTC on
14 November. The exchange is an RST report and serial number.
The RSGB 1.3 and 2.3GHz Activity Contest is on Tuesday 16 November from
2000 to 2230UTC. The exchange for this event is an RS or RST report,
serial number and locator.
Suitable freeware logging programs for RSGB HF and VHF contests is available
from a number of sources - see the ‘Links’ section of the VHF Contest
Committee website.
