AGW is slightly different to most soundcard programmes in that you cannot
select between DTR and RTS to PTT the radio. Normal PSK type programs will
let select either or both, but AGW insists that RTS goes with the tip
(left_ channel and DTR with the ring (right) channel.

Just about all the soundcard cables sold and published designs use the tip
(left) channel. Most of the PSK type software outputs on both left and
right channels so it doesn't matter. So if you use something like Hamscope
you can wire to either the tip or ring and then select either DTR or RTS
keying but with AGW you must make sure you use the correct serial line for
the soundcard channel you are wired for. Of course by splitting the
soundcard channels, AGW can run two packet modems on a stereo soundcard.

In addition, ensure you have the correct serial port selected etc.
