                             General information.

Italy, I. Georgio IZ1DXS, writes; I will operate as IZ1DXS/1 in my spa-
re time on 6 from Laigueglia, Savona province (JN43BX, a rare square)
from 26 June to 8 July +/- 50180 kHz SSB and 50098 kHz CW. I hope to be
on air already for Nordic Activity contest (25/06) from JN43BX ! QSL
preferably through the bureau. Tnx de George

St. Pierre and Miquelon, FP. After the St. Paul Island DXpedition (June
29-July 9) husband and wife team Ed, W0SD, and Edith, W0OE, will conti-
nue on and operate from St. Pierre and Miquelon from July 27-29. They
will be QRV on HF and 6 meters on the same frequencies as the St. Paul
Island operation. They will use the 6 meter beam left by K1TOL. Later
in August they will be active from CQ WW Zone 2 from Labrador City,
Labrador. (QSP de The Daily DX #122)

Cuba, CO. A QSP from Jorgen, OZ0J, says; DXpedition to CUBA 18/10 - 10/
11 2002. After a successfull expedition to cuba in 1997, organized by
SK0X contest group, FRC (Federacion de Radioaficionados de Cuba) and
Radio Club Las Tunas I decided to go there again, this time myself! My
(SM0WKA) hosts will be Raul CO8ZZ and Radio Club Las Tunas (with mem-
bers). During the expedition the T48W call will be held, We will also
be active in a multi-single during the CQWW SSB contest! I shall try to
activate the Low-bands as much as possible (6-160 m.) and 50.105 MHz,
it can thus be hard because of the high static level! Also the digital
modes such as RTTY & PSK31 will be frequently activated.

St. Martin, FS. W6JKV, Jimmy, will be on from FS, St. Martin, June 27-
July 7. The QTH will be oceanfront to the U.S. and Europe. The yagi
will have a 40 foot boom. He will have a beacon on 50.103 unless he an-
nounces otherwise. And, he should have web capability. This may prima-
rily be a 6M expedition. (QSP de The Daily DX #118)
