   Denmark, OZ. OZ7CQ - CQ Contest & DX group, QRV in Nordic Activity
   Contest 50 MHz section Tuesday March 26 th. 18:00 - 22:00 UT. We're
   QRV from JO55CE which is on the South/West side of the Island of Fyn.
   Here We're situated at one of our highest points at 128 Asl. with a
   formidable takeoff 360 deg. round the clock. Usually We're round
   50.173 MHz when calling CQ. If You should want to make a sked with us
   or hear more about our working ConDX You're welcome to give us a call

   Seychelles, S7. Tom DL7AV, writes; Kurt HB9MX, will work as S79MX in
   CW/SSB from Mar 25. He will stay for one month. QSL via HB9MX. (From

   Myanmar, XY. A multi-national group has announced their plans for a DX-
   pedition to Myanmar during August. The group will use XY3C on CW, XY5T
   on SSB and XY7V on the digital modes between August 4 and 22. The group
   will start operations in Yangon between August 4 and 8 on 6- 40 meters.
   Then they will operate between August 9 and 22 from Ngapal, near
   Thandwe (formerly known as Sandoway) on the Arrakan coast. Operations
   are expected on 6 through 160 meters using 3 stations simultaneously
   with amplifiers. Team members include DF2IC, DF7KP, DL4KQ, DL5OAB,
   DL8KBJ, IN3QBR, IN3ZNR, XW0X and YB0US. They will use yagis on 6
   through 30 meters and horizontal and vertical antennas on the lower
   bands. QSLs for XY3C go via DL4KQ, XY5T via IN3ZNR, and XY7V via DL8KBJ
   either direct or via the bureau. The team also has a web site at

   San Felix, CE0X. Dick, K5AND, at XR0X says the boat is arriving early
   and will leave on March 27 so the last probable operation will be on

   Bangladesh, S21. Jan, OK1FWC, is now working in Khulna, Bangladesh
   until July 2001. He has been QRV as S21/OK1FWC using an IC-706MKII
   and HB9CV. So far activity has been on 10 meters but other bands are
   expected in the future. QSLs go via OKDXF, Bradlec 73 29306 Kosmonosy
   Czech Republic. Logs are expected to be on the OKDXF web site at

   Italy, I. Freddy IZ1EPM, writes; Hi, since today the call IW1DIM is
   expired, and is changed with IZ1EPM. Now since 10 years i have upgra-
   ted my license in first class and now i'm able to working all HAM fre-
   quency spectrum permitted in Italy. CU on pileup de Freddy
   
   Lebanon, OD. Max IW0GXY, writes; I've been authorized by the Lebanese
   Government to operate as OD5/IW0GXY starting today till the end of
   June 2002 (but probably till September 2002) I would appreciate if you

   Macquarie Isl., VK0. Toshi, JA1ELY, and Masa, JE1LET announced soon
   you will hear a newly Macquarie Island ham station. Peter Andrew
   Pokorny, VK0MQI, a friend of Masa JE1LET, will be working as a member
   of the 2002 Australian National Antarctic Research Expedition to Mac-
   quarie Island. He had operated as VK0AC from Davis Base, Antarctica
   in 1998. Peter's expected departure date was on March 11, so he may
   have already arrived on the island. He will be staying on the island
   until December of this year. Masa, JE1LET, personally gave Peter an
   IC-706 and a key paddle for DX operation from the island. Peter will
   operate all bands including 6 meters. QSL managers will be Masa,
   JE1LET, for his JA QSOs and Toshi JA1ELY, for other DX QSOs. (QSP

   St. Lucia, J6. Scott J68AS, writes; Just a slight correction to your
   information about my J6 trip. I will start on March 21 (I hope - March
   22 if not) and will QRT on April 2. More time for propagation to play

   Denmark, OZ. Nordic VHF Meeting. Ivan OZ7IS, writes; Dear all. The
   OZ1GWD from the OZ9KY group have just confirmed that all contracts
   etc. is in place for the 24. Nordic VHF meeting to be held on June 14
   - 16, 2002. The venue will be "Sletten" near Silkeborg as in 1989. It
   is a scout center held in nice "Swedish-red" colour. More info primo

   are sorry about the delay but very happy that the OZ9KY group took
