The "junk" are reminders, and yeah needed junk to the YL @WW
and it shows just how many have lost the RF path to packet
and now are hammies in calsign only. Oh yes there is a YL
net and organization on HF but they all seem too to be disconneted
from each, which is a shame. I have noted when I send to the
group stuff, it generates for a while some traffic, and I
enjoy reading that ...but most is and means nothing to me
as it isn't the original packet group....growing...and I like
to see this, but..oh well....progress.

Aaah Star Trek... well my view is it they want to reboot
as I understand it, why go back to the Botany Bay episode
and screw it royal. Even the movie, had them a few years
on the planet, and ...well reboot and rehashing it as in
the previous movie, me thinks they needed imagination to...
but they didn't have...only better graphical effects.

Kahn died in the movie. Last act to get at Capt Kirk was
detnotation of his ship. Then to really flop the reboot
they even had Capt Pike of the original series, and even
their Capt Pike was in a modern-type wheelchair and with
only lights to communicate "yes" or "no" ...Kirk broke
Starfllet orders and went to that forbidden to visit again
planet where Capt Pike was able to live better then could
be offered by the Federation. They had him die in the
reboot. They better try reboot-the-reboot with better
writers who know the past and well my wife Maria and I
wanted to leave halfway in ... just too dark and mistakes
and no imagination... Only thing that saved it..already
mentioned. Wish I had borrowed the bootleg copy.

Snipped out all the stuff you tag here, and Ian notes he
never saw the posting from you, so i hope it arrives one of
these years ..... Me...other things to do, as Packet is
a thing of my past here...never thought I'd say this, but
nothing new as many years ago pedicted the flop.
