Hello YL'ers and also OM'ers...

The Echolink version of what we once had on Packet, is alive and
well running and with month nets, is popular. Also noted is
adding more members to the net site they maintain on the Net.

Now back to VE3WBZ and what we're up to!

The garden , well since I have not heard from Sarah AB7PS and
how her garden is, mine spent the summer looking like a jungle
save the few tomatoe plants I placed there, even a grape plant
and well rubrab and reasberrys grew...of course they are wild.

Our RV, is on the road, and we are getting out there, as well
taking all the Ham radio and CB radio with us, and Maria
brings her laptop so we can get into the Internet, by going
to campsites where they offer it....Canadian Government Parks
are too expensive and cheapos. I try to avoid them like
the plague.

Nearly sold the "Yellow Submarine" a few days ago, as I thought
we had good bids on another machine we both liked. Our tears
were short lived, as the buyer told us she had found a bigger
unit...so Voyages of the "Yellow Submarine" seem solid
for 2013.

For OMs...well the GNWB is all ready to go this year, again
as it helped me immensely. Also looking at getting installed
a skating rink for obvious winter activity. Maybe a webcam
can be setup to let all watch. Hockey? We don't know.

Next month, November, is important as I have an end to a lot
of blood tests, and other tests, due to my meds and what they've
been doing to me lately. I got new meds in June 2012...and
steadly until September 2012, they got worse in the side effects
as I got dizzy and walking was like on a rolling deck, and I
would fall asleep for 4 hours ..or all day...and then sleep
a bit at night, with other problems keeping me getting up.

My driving was impaired, and most days, I just walked where I
needed to go, or waited 4 long hours when I wasn't dizzy and
the stores might be still open. It also impaired me for
sailing...I had to stop and the thought has me thinking if
NOW is the time to retire pernamently from sailing.

I have also a few sailboats I have been looking at to buy
or go partnership, and now...well I will know for sure
after November 6th.,2012 if it is a good idea ..just to
call sailing quits like the hockey playing days.

One must retire sometime , from things they love doing...

With that...better send, and hope and wonder if any YL'ers
or OM'ers are still in packet, and sorry ..it has been so
long I can not find the old combined YL -OM logo.
