Hello again Billie and K.O. ... and as well everyone ;)
More snow ...eh. I guess we'll be seeing it up here, as
the last one was a biggy. I have tired to sta off the
roads..I went out yesterday...and clear blue sky... got
what I wanted....missed on some other items, and on the
way home blue sky....until I turned the corner...Yep..
ran right into a Streamer off the lake, and then Wind
kicking it up...and whiteout.... On the other side
back to clear sky... The van stays in the driveway.

OK Billie. I will email ASP..in fact as I do this reply. As for
the email address, it seems that some ISPs, have their filters
set to he paranoid state, as I have seen this with other callsigns
NOT coming it, so let me know if you don't get it, as well the
filter might be set both ways. ....mmmmm...time elapse...and msg is
sent.

It's Ok Billie to call it a "stunt". Hahahahha ...really I was
laughing, and please do not worry about it. I was surprised as
anyone, to be sitting and on chat with Maria in BRASIL...when
I felt this pain...sudden...and told her what I thought it was
and I was going to laydown. Well it got worse, and we re-connected
at the schedualed time, and I told her it was worse, and I was
going to bed....and thats when she called friends here and well
I got a direct order to report to a friend's home near the hospital.
Long stor on that "Stunt" ...but what really got me, was I was able
to diagnois what it was...big surprise to me... !!!! Really...like
I just thru outside cutting wood...making tea and nothing wrong
no pain no strain and all that .... Yeah...so this year more
rules...and no more stunts....I have promised to many things
and one is live MSN and Skype up mos of the time...for checkins.
Geee I am running a net .... <g>....ok I know it is not funny.
I am sure if she could there would be a live security camera
on me right now if we got one, from the store...like 16 camera
and mobile one or that flying helicopter thing following me
about the house .... Yeah Billie...and yes everyone of our
friends here on YL @WW .... yes no more...or try....no more
stunts as Billie has scribed before. Billie hit the nail
on the head, about Maria's feelings when she is down south
and worried about me.
I really appreciate the concern everyone has...not only in my
case, but also with others we all know.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY too Roger KB0SON. Many happy returns as we
say here! Maria's greeting would be "PARABENS" Muito Feliz.
I am sure Patty will have family and friends over to celebrate.

Being I once had the Trecel fastback with 5 gears standard I
know that feeling of being stranded atop a snow drift...happened
many times here. I miss the Trecel. I miss my fastback VW
too. I preferred the rear engine over the drive wheels with
the VW as with the beatle it surfed over the snow...the Trecel
as you know with the front wheel drive sort of did not have that
advantage. I can imagine what happened ... Good memorys of it
happening o me... <g>.

OK on the addresses ... I thought...well it did cross the mind
that you were running your own BBS. Neato. As for sysops..
well in the 1990s, I was a sysop for a landline dialup BBS
and on a network too. Before the Internet. I remember the
ups and downs of being a sysop. I can appreciate it and
well ..and I have heard this repeated to me by sysops...that
users really seem too, not care a hoot about the human element
and who is making it work. They just want it to work. Like
it is a free service to them, yet ...gee I was in hospital one
fall, and all the phone calls seemed to be BBS complaints
not too many cared about me in hospital. I was glad when the
Internet came... 30 BBSes here closed... and I finally shut
my days off in 2005. There was a group trying to restart mine
and well another sysop and 100 users, but they gave up in 2010
when 100 users ...really were demanders and really no hardcore
supporters it really needed to succeed. BLIP ! December 2010.
All I got was an email telling me the BBS was gone this date
thank for your support....etc etc... and the moneys donated
by those who did...returned. Also software etc...

Thats a great idea ...maybe after cutting the last twigs I have
for the wood bins...which I hope will see me thru to the end of this
month. Nice ending thought. Thanks Billie and K.O.
