Hello YL @WW , and those participating, reading along
via however.
I wonder as I open this, if Sarah out west on the Pacific
is touring the garden centres, preparing for the day she
and hubby can get into that garden. It was the first thing
I saw this morning, as I wokeup and looked a the snow covering
ours, and thinking in a few months another go at it.
NO Jungle this time...just planing and get it planted, and
well try to enjoy the rasberrys before the birds beat us to
them. I see I have even a wild bush growing at the front
steps, so ...mmmm visitors and those pounding on the door
for whatever reason have mother nature's snack there quite
handy.
I have noticed, that Our YL Packet Network seems to be drifting
from packet to the yahoo room and some other places, and
is really taking off, with meetings here and there and
thats the greatest news, as it has developed and those in
it have taken it to new heights, and well ...I still have this
feeling, and I get all the postings to the net in emails
..but it has lost my interest...Not packet.
Maria , this January 19th.,2011 ....finall got a flight outta
the Cannuckian Freezer to Sunny, HOT, ropical BRASIL .... where
via Skype she looks hot...like dripping with sweat...but loving
it, and making it clear she likes this better to freezing.
Yep ! 32c there ... 28c at night...so she admits, hard to sleep
in the heat ...but then while on Skpe ...things got jumbled
and this told me, somewhere something was happening...and sure
enough... the sunny day turn dark....quite dramtic...and a
crash of lightning and thunder....and the water fall of RAIN
came down... we had to close. Bye Be see ou tomorrow.
This alwas happens there... sunny days and like clockwork the
period in the day...there is a tropical storm. No Maria and
her family are no where near the disaster reported on he news.
That is up north of them.
So "Pete's Bachelor Pad" is in full swing, as well my OM project
with the GNWB ... and I gave her a laugh as I pedalled on Skype
for my daily 5 minutes < as promised>.
OH did I mention in BRASIL 32c ? Yepper I did. Well a few days
after Maria left, and she was lucky... we had this cold front come
down from the north. Our windchill value was -32c .... then we
wetn to the coldest -38c. NO we were not the coldest. Nothing
moved here for those days...BUT up North in the Arctic area they
hit -47c and that was without a windchill value we had of -32
or -38. I didn't even wanna know what their windchill value
took it to...that was cold... mmmm...another few chunks of wood
for the fireplace.
Sooo !!! Thats about it from the shores of Lake Simcoe, where it
froze over early...so ..mmmmm a rough winter is seen and we've
had lots of snow < snow warning for toda> < -23c or -9F >
....but nothing like other places.
