Hi Peter, Billie, Roger & Sara,
There are daffodils flowering in my mother's garden at the moment. More
shoulf flower in the next few weeks. Sporing is on the verge of arriving
in Auckland. The white "Early Cheers" are flowing too.
My Cats Roger & Narla are both well. They are spending the mornings
sleeping on my bed. When it rains they come inside to dry off (via the cat
flap door around the back of my house).
I am still looking for work. Several interesting things have appeared on
the internet job sites. Nothing definite has showed up as yet.
My turn is coming for an interview with a job agency.
An ex-workmate Robert ZL2RLW is also looking for work. We swap notes by
phone & email. Sometimes we find different things the other hasn't heard
about.
I mowed the lawns yesterday. They hadn't been mowed for a month. The
ground is a bit wet & sticky with mud. No buds open on the plum tree as
yet.
This year's inorganic rubbish collection begins this weekend. A great
chance to devest the house & garage of broken or unwanted goods.
A few old CRT PC screens or defunct 486s await the collection at my
mother's garage.
I hope you have a nice Fall season & enjoy those colourful leaves on the
trees.
