Hello to everyone reading along.
It was good to find bulletins from Sara and Peter.
Peter, we understand you are going through a bad time
right now. We can only pray that there soon will be
brighter days ahead. Just continue to let us hear from
you.
Sara, everything may not be growing this year as well
as you would like, but you do have some vegetables and
some flowers to enjoy.
We still are under a heat advisory in this area. The
temperature at our house this afternoon is 100 with a
heat index several degrees higher. The heat index was
predicted to be 108 to 110, and it probably reached that.
We haven't had rain at our house in several weeks. I
keep watering my few plants and they are bravely hanging
in there.
We are having a primary election today. K.O. and I did
our duty and got out in the heat to cast our votes. At least
that gives us a ticket to express our opinions.
Sara, we are glad every time we see you connect to our BBS.
Let us know if there is anything we can do to help.
Till next time, folks--
73, Billie
